Receptionist: Demo Roofing, this is Ray — I'm an AI assistant. One thing first: this call's recorded — that okay?

What it does with the call
Picks up on the second ring
On the number you already have. Nothing to replace, nothing to port, and it only takes the calls you don't.
Finds out what is actually wrong
Name, callback number, the address, and what they are looking at. Not a menu and not a form read out loud.
Tells them what happens next
When you can get there, in your words, with the hours you gave it. It never quotes a price you did not give it.
Texts you before you are off the ladder
The whole message on your phone. You call back knowing the job before you dial.
Keeps every caller
Each caller lands in the built-in CRM in your console: a customer list with their history, a pipeline from new to won, to-dos, and follow-up emails you switch on.
Dusklin:Thanks for calling Alvarez Plumbing, this is the front desk. I'm an AI assistant. This call's recorded — is that okay?
Caller:Hi, my water heater's leaking all over the garage floor.
Dusklin:Okay. Have you been able to turn off the water to it?
Caller:Yeah, I found the valve. It's off.
Dusklin:Good. Can I take your name and the best number for Mike?
Caller:Dana Whitfield, five six one, five five five, oh one eight two.
Dusklin:Thanks, Dana. I've sent it to Mike now and marked it urgent. He'll call you back on that number.

An example. The names and numbers are made up; the call is scripted, read in her voice with a generated caller. Real messages carry the caller's own words.
32 languages
It answers in Spanish.
It follows the caller's language rather than asking them to pick one, in any of 32: English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Arabic, Korean, Portuguese, French, Russian and 22 more, and it follows a caller who switches mid-call. On a trade line that is not a nice-to-have. It also asks permission to record at the start of every call, because Florida is an all-party consent state and a recording made without that is not yours to keep. Working in Palm Beach County? Call a local plumber or roofer demo on a 561 number.

Dusklin:Gracias, Rosa. Ya le envié el mensaje a Mike.

A no-heat call at 2 a.m.
Water coming in, a flood, no heat, storm damage: it handles those in a set order. Anyone in danger is told to call 911 first. Then it gives the safety step you wrote down, as you wrote it — if you said shut off the water main, it says the main — and takes the name, callback number and address, reading them back. Your text arrives marked URGENT, and the caller hears a callback time only once the message is saved. What counts as urgent for your trade is yours to set, in plain sentences, in your settings.
What it will not do
- It does not diagnose anything. It takes the description and gives it to you.
- It does not quote. If somebody asks what a water heater costs, it says you will call them back with that.
- It does not dispatch, and it will not promise a crew is on the way.
- It tells callers it is an assistant, first thing. It will not pretend to be you.
Everything above is the product as it is today, not a roadmap. If you call the number and it does something different from this page, that is a bug and we would like to hear about it.
