What it does
- Blocks AI crawlers and app cloners that identify themselves, while people and search engines pass straight through.
- Makes copying much harder for tools that pretend to be a browser: speed limits, a human check on suspicious traffic.
- Lets you charge instead of block. Set a price to read, quote, train on or clone your site. Agents pay per request, straight to your own wallet, on the open x402 standard. We never hold your money.
- Keeps the record. Every licensed copy gets a signed receipt and shows in your ledger: who licensed what, and when.
- Traces copies. Invisible marks in your pages let a copy found later be matched to the request it came from.

No tool can stop someone rebuilding your app by hand. Tollbooth stops automated copying, makes the rest much harder, and gives you the record.
